Master Your Design System: Step-by-Step Video Guide Included

We’re excited to announce a major update to our design system starter kits: we now include video tutorials to make your onboarding experience even smoother.

Inside the kit, you’ll not only find a short step-by-step video guide that walks you through the structure of the file, but also a full demo showing you how to customize the kit for your own brand—making it easier than ever to hit the ground running.

Getting started

Our first video series starts with a Getting Started walkthrough. In this video, we explain how the Core Design System is structured and introduce the main building blocks.

You'll get a quick tour of the Foundations, covering everything from logo setup and color tokens to spacing, typography, and accessibility. From there, we move into the Component Starter Set, then wrap up by exploring Sections and Templates—so you can understand how to put everything together effectively.

Our demo: FLOW - Design Library

A video is worth a thousand words—so we created a full demo to show the kit in action. In this video, we introduce you to "Flow", a fictional brand, and walk you through the process of building a design library from scratch.

You'll learn how to:

  • Set up your design library file using Core
  • Apply brand-specific elements like colors, typefaces, spacing, and border radius
  • Create a clean, scalable system that aligns with a style guide

This demo is designed to give you a clear, practical example of how to adapt the kit to fit your own brand.

We’ve also launched a YouTube channel where we’ll be sharing more tips and tutorials—including our favorite Figma plugins to speed up your workflow when building a design system.
